MY EXPERIENCE IN SINGAPORE

I had the most unforgettable experience in my life when I was 17. It is an experience about working as a domestic worker in Singapore.

I still remember after I graduated from senior high school. I was so difficult to find a job in Indonesia with high salary. That way I decided to work in Singapore. For me in addition their countries are small, clean and secure. They are also using English to everyday language. That the one of the reason I interested to work in Singapore. In addition I could work and study English too.

They have been happy family. They consist of the head of the family 44 years old, his wife 43 years old and they two children. He was 17 years old and a little girl. My job was taking of the two children. I had to take care they food and they school. Accompany them to study and play. Brought the little girl to school, piano lesson and pick her back. Almost all of their activities they parent didn’t know exactly. They were busy with their jobs.

Every month once I had day off. So that could take refreshing, and hang out with my friends. Having fun, take pictures and share about our activities. WE go around Singapore. I went to Sentosa, Universal studio Singapore, Chinese garden and many other places. I really enjoyed my day off with my friends.

I worked with them for more than 3 years passed by. I really happy and enjoyed worked there. I had so much sweet memory with them. One of the unforgettable in my memory were when they brought us to Bangkok, Chingmay , Macau  and Malaysia. They are humble and consider me as part of their family. I miss them so much. I wish that I can meet them again.
